Creative Scrappers Sketch #103

I finally got around to scrapping this one! All PPs are Basic Grey, cardstock is Core'dinations and Bazzill Bling. Letters are Basic Grey and American Crafts Thickers. Die-cuts were cut with my Cricut using Zooballoo and Graphically Speaking cartridges and then embossed using my Cuttlebug. Acrylic circles were also cut using my Cricut and then outlined in Mermaid Glitz Stickles. TFL!

American Crafts "Spring" Blog Challenge

This week's challenge on the American Crafts blog is to scrap a "Spring" layout using a least two American Crafts products. Well, what could be more spring than this adorable American Crafts Dear Lizzy paper? I made the sun by gathering some yellow ribbon into a circle, then giving it a Dear Lizzy Flair center and using ric-rac for rays and Pebbles Candy Dots just for fun. The Thickers are Dear Lizzy Bliss and the birds and flowers are Dear Lizzy Thicker accents. The puffy cloud is an American Crafts Chit Chat Thicker accent. The larger chipboard flowers with the button centers are old Making Memories, as is the green ribbon and yellow ric-rac. The die-cut title is My Mind's Eye, the flourishes are Maya Road, and the rub-ons are Fancy Pants. TFL!

My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge

This month, the blog challenge for My Mind's Eye was Anything Goes. All we had to do was use the sketch they provided as inspiration. I've been waiting to do this layout for a while. I needed a couple pieces of Quite Contrary that I didn't have and as soon I as I got them, I went to town! I love these pictures of my daughter playing in the puddles after a rain storm and I knew I wanted to use these great papers with the clouds and rain drops to scrap them. I also knew I wanted to use some of the great cuts on the Once Upon a Princess Cricut cartridge. I had a lot of fun with this layout and put a lot of details into it. I cut the raindrops out of acrylic packaging, using a gem cut from OUAP, outlined them with Aqua Stickles and then filled them in with Glossy Accents to give them more of a drop shape. I cut the large die-cut shape from OUAP. I also cut the rainbow, clouds, umbrella, rain coat and rain boots from OUAP, using Core'dinations cardstock. I embossed and debossed the rainbow and umbrella top using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots folder. I embossed the clouds using D'Vine Swirls. I hand stitched rain drops using metallic silver DMC floss. The title is mounted on a MME journaling cards and uses MME Quite Contrary stickers letters as well as Niki Riki glitter Thickers. This is quite possibly one of my favorite layouts that I have done to date and I hope everyone that sees it loves it as well!

Bo Bunny Layout Challenge

This is for the current Bo Bunny layout challenge to do a layout about mothers. I chose to do a layout about my grandmother and mother and to use the beautiful Jazmyne papers and embellishments that I had finally gotten my hands on! The background cardstock is Bo Bunny Double Dot, which I have fallen in love with! I hadn't seen it in person until just this past week and I adore it! The flourishes are Maya Road that I painted and Stickled. Flowers are mix of Prima and felt flowers that I cut with my Cuttlebug.

Cosmo Cricket Crafty Banner

After being inspired by a pennant wall hanging done by an ACOT Creative Team member, I thought it would be fun to take it one step further and make a crafty banner for my scrap space! I used a Maya Road chipboard banner set and lots of Cosmo Cricket Material Girl goodies!
