My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge #12

This is for the current MME blog challenge. As soon as I saw the So Sophie Graceful papers and title, I knew they would be perfect for scrapping this picture of my sisters and I in 1997. All PPs, title, frame and die-cuts are MME So Sophie Graceful. I punched the border strip with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Trim punch, then hand stitched each flower in the strip. I also stitched the cardstock buttons and stitched a flourish using a Bazzill In Stitch'z template to echo the flourishes on the background PP. The layered flowers are a combination of 3 different types of Primas - Painterly Petals, Fancies and Sprites. TFL!

Bo Bunny "Dad" Layout Challenge

I had so much fun with this one trying to get creative with my scraps of Snowy Serenade! I know, I know, but it's the only line I found that matches my daughter's snowsuit so well! I've just got one more snow layout to do and hopefully I can eke the little bit I have left out to finish it! Anyway, for this layout, I used the negative that was left after die-cutting a bracket shape for the previous Bo Bunny layout challenge. I mounted that on purple cardstock. I trimmed my photos to 4" and mounted them on another piece of Snowy Serenade PP. Then I border punched Ocean Double Dot cardstock for my border strip. I covered a chipboard heart in layers of blue tissue paper and glittered it to make it look frosty. The snowflakes are Little Yellow Bicycle. I Stickled one with Icicle Stickles and covered the other two in fine glitter. Letters are LAX and Sprinkles Glitter Thickers. TFL!

American Crafts Spotlight Week Challenge

This week the challenge was just to post a favorite layout of yours featuring two or more American Crafts products. This layout I did during NSD weekend using my current fave AC line Dear Lizzy! All PPs are Dear Lizzy, flair and chipboard sticker are Dear Lizzy and the flowers were made using Dear Lizzy fabric paper. I love that stuff and can't wait to get some of the new releases!

Bo Bunny Layout Challenge

I absolutely loved Rita's sketch as soon as I saw it, and I'm sure I'll be using it again! I used as much Bo Bunny on this as I could, but my stash of Snowy Serenade is running sadly low. All PPs are Snowy Serenade and I also use Ocean Double Dot cardstock for my photo mats. Flourishes and sequin trim is Maya Road, snowflakes are Heidi Swapp, letters are American Crafts and Target, journaling card is My Mind's Eye. I embellished the flourishes and snowflakes using Icicle, Aqua, Grape and Mermaid Stickles. TFL!
